A comment to the picture would be that the object looks similar to the ones people are experiencing in Mexico and Brazil. One orb out of thousands spotted in central America.
My guess is that it is some kind of a probe, not a UFO or flying saucer itself, but surely from one. If they are probes one can ask why aliens send thousands of them over a fairly small area. With their supposedly highly advanced technology one probe should be enough but we don't have a clue at all about their intentions and what they are doing.
Maybe they are advancing slowly to make us aware that there is something else out there that want to make contact. This could very well be one of many ways to ease the fact that we are not alone. Crop circles is another way of telling us that. When they came to our attention in the sixties they were only simple circles but now the formations are complex and perfect in their design and still advancing for every year that goes by.

Or it is all a mass hallucination ;-) but I don't believe that.
