Throughout history humans witnessed circles and
other geometric figures made in the soil by mysterious craft. Crop circles are
a phenomenon that have been happening as long as crop fields have existed.
They appear in various crops of growing grain like wheat, barley and oilseed rape
(canola) that are the most common in England.
But they have also been reported in oats, flax, rye, peas, potatoes,
sweetcorn maize and even in rice paddy fields in Japan.
